Since taking office in April, Sheriff McMahan has added several new Sheriff's Deputies. Tremendous advancements have been made here at the Sheriff's Office and are continuing to grow. This allows us to better serve you, our fellow citizens, and continue to make Greer County a great place to live!

This month, Sheriff McMahan was happy to swear-in a new Deputy Sheriff and a very familiar face!! Deputy Frank Bone has been assigned as the Greer County Sheriff's Office Environmental Deputy. Frank has 40+ years of law enforcement experience. He started out serving here in Southwest Oklahoma and eventually served with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office. Most recently, Frank was serving as the Police Chief at the Granite Police Department when he retired at the end of November.

Through our partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, we will be cleaning up Greer County in more ways than one!!! Deputy Bone will be supervising Greer County Sheriff's inmate trustees on the removal of trash and debris along the roadways here in Greer County!

Please help us welcome Deputy Frank Bone to the Sheriff's Office family. Another great addition for Greer County and the Greer County Sheriff's Office.
